HIMSS Machine Learning & AI Event
Machine learning and artificial intelligence offer healthcare tremendous promise and have captured its collective imagination. Even at this early stage in the adoption cycle, its influence seems everywhere: driving better outcomes, improving clinical decision-making, advancing quality and safety, supporting pop health, boosting patient engagement and experience...the list goes on.
With these early and fragmented successes, come big challenges with technology, terminology, domain expertise, and, perhaps most daunting, implementation and how to introduce these transformative tools into existing clinician workflows.
That’s where the HIMSS’s Machine Learning & AI for Healthcare comes in. This event will be presented in Boston on June 11-12 and will dig deep into the role these technologies are and will play in transforming healthcare. Attendees come to this event desiring information that will help them implement these technologies at their health organizations to achieve clinical and business goals.
Deadline to submit a proposal: Midnight February 16.
Topics of interest: This event presents peer-to-peer education and will look at the state of ML & AI in healthcare. This is an ongoing discussion, and this year, we are laser-focused on implementation. When it comes to people, processes and technology, what’s required to implement ML & AI into a healthcare organization to achieve clinical and strategic goals? To see all topics of interest go here.
Case Studies: We are particularly interested in how hospitals and health systems have implemented machine learning and AI to improve care, control costs, and drive operational efficiencies – in short, to provide better, more patient-centric care and create a more sustainable organization.
We want sessions that share practical tips and actionable insights that our attendees from healthcare organizations can use to meet clinical and operational goals
Who can submit: We value submissions from other healthcare providers and payer organizations, academic institutes, and government agencies. We do not consider submissions from vendor organizations.
No Commercial Content
Submissions will not be selected if they promote specific products/services or are commercial in nature. Likewise, if we select your proposal, HIMSS may request that you make modifications to keep your session within the program content guidelines.
