HIMSS Machine Learning & AI for Healthcare: Call for Speaking Proposals is Open

HIMSS is accepting speaker proposals for the inaugural Machine Learning and AI for Healthcare on March 5 at the HIMSS annual conference in Las Vegas.

The deadline to submit is 5 pm EST, Nov. 1.

Machine learning and artificial Intelligence in healthcare is happening. But this next-generation technology is still very much in its infancy, and with it come big challenges with technology, terminology, and, perhaps most daunting, how to introduce this potential transformative solution into existing healthcare workflows.

What better setting than the world’s largest gathering of health IT expertise to separate what’s hype from what’s really happening in the field, share success stories, and explore the challenges. Importantly, we want speakers who can explain the foundational building blocks needed to use machine learning and AI to create innovative, agile organizations and meet strategic goals.

What We Want

Case studies and real-life solutions are a priority for the audience to 200+ payer and provider IT and clinical leaders. Topics of interest include but are not limited to:

  • The basics of machine learning and AI for healthcare
  • Practical integration of technology
  • Future view – what other industries are doing and how these applications might migrate to healthcare
  • Case studies and proving ROI
  • The need for domain expertise & leadership
  • The value of data
  • Trust and transparency
  • AI’s role in clinical decision support
  • And more

We accept proposals from healthcare payers and providers, government agencies and academic institutions ONLY.  We do not accept proposals from healthcare vendors and consultants, unless made on behalf of a payer or provider customer.
